The Class of 2029 returned Friday night from their 8th grade trip to Gettysburg and Washington, DC. 🇺🇸 Experiencing our country's history up close makes it come to life. This group had a lot of fun learning and making memories together. Thank you to Timmerman's Produce Stand for providng apples for our trip 🍎 and to Full Strength Coffee for the delicious cookies 🍪! 💙🐾

Fire Prevention Week was a huge success! We bowled with fire hoses, had a fire safety obstacle course, created a yummy fire truck treat, watched the emergency vehicles in the parade, and most importantly, learned about fire safety, fire prevention, and how to respond in an emergency. Thank you to our very own volunteers at Westfield Fire Department for making the week extra exciting for us all. We have one amazing community! 💙

The first S.T.A.R. Program of the year took us on an animal adventure as we kicked off our 24-25 Reading A-Zebra theme. 📖 🦓 🐸 🐒 🦁🦊🐢🐦🦀🐝 Congratulations to Addisen Haley for creating the winning design for this year's logo! Calendar Reminder to Families - This Friday, October 4, is our annual "Go Home Early" Drill. All students, PreK-12, will be dismissed at 2:15pm. There is ONLY ONE bus run. There will be no Y program. If your child has an afterschool activity, like a sport, please check with your child's coach/advisor for details. Please make arrangements and plan ahead for this drill. Thank you.

Students in Mrs. Wilson's Public Speaking classes read children's books to our kindergarten and first grade classes this week. Both the littles and the bigs enjoyed this! The students chose their own books and were kindly graded by the elementary teachers. We thank them for allowing us into their classrooms!

Big shout out to Maddie Burgess for being named Dan Palmer's Student Athlete of the Day for Tuesday 9/24 for her performance for our Girls Volleyball team the last several games! Way to go Maddie!

Prek and kindergarten students had a great time visiting Apple Blossom Farm in North East today! Each student brought back a bag of apples to share at home. 🍎
