On Friday, May 31, 2024, eighth grade students attended the annual WAVE Fair to learn more about how to get their community service hours as high school students. They become freshmen on July 1, 2024, and can start to earn those hours over the summer. Each student is required to have a minimum of forty hours of community service to meet our graduation requirement. A special thank you to the following:
Centaur Stride, Absolut of Westfield, Union Relief, North Lake Recreation, Patterson Library, Westfield Fire Department, Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, Lakeshore Assembly of God, and WACS Student Government, Band, and Chorus
If you have any questions about Community Service, please contact the Community Service Program Coordinator, Laura Wilson at 326-2151 ext. 234.

The class of 2025 made it to NYC! They are looking sharp for their dinner cruise on day one of their Senior Class Trip together.

📚 Prek’s final trip of the year to the Patterson Library was filled with smiles, stories, and so much fun! Since the beginning of the school year, our group has been visiting the library each month, enjoying story time, play time, and a variety of creative, themed activities. As an added bonus, this morning's weather was nice enough for our group to walk and practice the crosswalk safety they learned during their talk with Officer Scriven earlier this spring. 🌞
A huge THANK YOU to Valerie Thomas and everyone at the Patterson Library for an incredible year of partnership, learning, and joy! We are so grateful for the warm welcome and the wonderful experiences you’ve created for our kids. 📖 💙

Congratulations to all of our student athletes that competed in the Special Olympics at Strider Field in Jamestown today! We could not be more proud of you! 💙

Mr. Morton, from Sundance Kids Farm, made his final visit of the year to Westfield Elementary! This time he brought tortoises! 🐢 Students loved learning fun facts, asking thoughtful questions, and getting up close with these amazing creatures. A big thank you to Mr. Morton for sparking curiosity and wonder all year long with our students! 🦃 🦎 🕷️ 🦆 🐢 🦔🐓

🎶 Our 5th graders had an exciting visit to Mr. Tramontana's music class this week! After a brief musical performance by 8th graders, they got a sneak peek at all the instruments they’ll get to explore in middle school classes — from steel pan drums and bells to guitar, bass and more. The future of music is looking bright!
