Last night, in our boys basketball's 86-40 victory over Maple Grove, Carson Swanson scored his 2000th career point! Congratulations Carson on such a remarkable achievement! Westfield Athletics is excited to watch that number continue to grow!

The WACS Music Department proudly sent six talented high school musicians to the NYSSMA Area-All State Festival at SUNY Fredonia this November. These students were selected as part of the top performers from NYSSMA Zone 1, which includes Niagara, Erie, Chautauqua, and Cattaraugus counties. To qualify for these prestigious honor ensembles, students must first perform solos at the previous year's NYSSMA Solo Festival. This year, our Wolverines were chosen for three of the NYSSMA performing groups: David Hoebener was selected to play bassoon in the Concert Band, while Gianna Douglas, Alina Franklin, Kameron Cady, and Zachary Wolfe were chosen for the Mixed Chorus. Additionally, McKenna Campbell earned a spot in the Treble Chorus. We are incredibly proud of these exceptional young musicians!

Come out and support your Wolverines! 🏀❄️Boys Winter Tournament ❄️🏀 🏆Championship trophies will be awarded at both the JV and Varsity levels. 🏆All-Tournament and MVP trophies will be awarded to Varsity level players after the Championship game.

🇺🇸Congratulations to our students in Mr. Birner's We the People course! We the People, the Constitution competition team, traveled to New York City and performed exceptionally well this year. After competing against six large schools from the New York City region, they secured 3rd place. Two of our units—Unit 4, led by Alina Franklin, David Hoebener, and Addie Luce, and Unit 5, led by Yadhira Ortiz, Zach Maguire, and McKenna Campbell—stood out with remarkable performances. The rest of the team, including Mason Baum, Danny Bratton, Wyatt Cole, Gianna Douglas, Mason Maring, Layton Ormsby, Brett Shreve, Sophie Smith, Lilly Snyder, Jackson Stellhorn, Taylor Thompson, and Mason Whitesell, also did an amazing job. They earned four perfect scores from 18 judges, with the remaining scores being exceptionally strong as well. Mr. Birner is incredibly proud of the hard work these students dedicated to the program. Westfield can be confident that they represented our school with excellence and distinction!
