Fall Sports start on Monday 8/26! Times are as follows: Varsity Boys and Girls Soccer 8-11 AM at the fields behind the school Modified Boys and Girls Soccer 8-10 AM at the fields behind the school Varsity and JV Girls Volleyball 8-11 AM in the HS gym Make sure all forms have been submitted to the nurse so you are ready to go on Monday!

GIRLS ON THE RUN! Attention interested girls in grades 3-6 : Signups are now open for the fall season of Girls on the Run. Westfield has been allocated 15 spots for this season. Financial assitance is available to any student, please reach out to Miss Deann Shelters at dshelters@westfieldcsd.org for more information. Please note that 6th grade is a new addition this year!

Varsity Football Practice starts TOMORROW 5-730 at CLake. Modified Football also starts tomorrow 6-8 at CLake. Look for information from your coaches for bus times to CLake from Westfield.

Back to School!

WACS is excited to announce that our district will be participating in the Community Eligibility Program for school meals again this year! This means that every student will have access to one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day. Extra meals, entrées, sides, and all snacks will be available for purchase utilizing student myschoolbucks account funds, cash or check. If you have any questions, email Heather Catalano, Food Service Director at hcatalano@westfieldcsd.org.

💙🍨Ice Cream Social🍨💙 Our secondary students developed a plan to poll their peers and staff members on their preferences related to ice cream sundaes. They then made their rounds, speaking in front of every classroom and office to learn about their favorite flavors and toppings. Data was compiled, and a list was made. Students shopped for supplies, sent out invitations, made announcements, set up a serving line, and threw a super fun ICE CREAM SOCIAL for our summer students and staff! Well done, Wolverines!

Our summer crew could not be more excited about the OLYMPICS! This afternoon we had our own torch passing relay outside and watched a little bit of the live opening ceremony in the auditorium before dismissal. Classrooms have adopted a country for the summer to learn about and celebrate during the Olympics in Paris. This has included reading, writing, math, cooking, coloring, researching, and so much more! These activities have united all of our learners, both big and small, and it is AWESOME!🥇🥈🥉Even our office staff and departments have been getting involved!

Miss Clamp & Ms. Hoebener's students have been working on their pickleball game this summer! Have you checked out the nets and lines that we have added to our tennis courts? We invite community members to bring your paddles and some friends to give them a try!
