Mrs. Wilson's 1540 class celebrated the end of their three course sequence which started junior year with ice cream at Wanderlust. Two people got color changing spoons and got free ice cream. Thank you, Wanderlust! The ice cream was fantastic.

We had a day packed full of problem solving, engineering, investigating, scientific thinking, hypothesizing, observing, and teamwork!




Today was a perfect day for the Chautauqua County Special Olympics. Congratulations to all of our athletes on an incredible event. We are so proud of you!
Hats off to our special education staff for preparing students for this wonderful event!

Our elementary STEM Wars Team had an incredibly successful day today at the Jamestown Ice Arena. Students competed in various events like robotics, marble runs, coding challenges, and more. Most notable were our team wins that included 2nd place in the Poster Contest, 1st place in the Shirt Design Competition, and an amazing 1st place in the "Hack-a-Thon". Big Shout Out to our Girls Varsity Softball team for their thrilling 1-0 victory over Silver Creek today in the Section 6 Class C Quarterfinals! Eva pitched the complete game shutout with some defensive help from Tan and Syd! Drew drove in the winning run! Let's Go Girls!!!

Congratulations to our Varsity Baseball Seniors Chris V, Lucas H, Aaron F, Mikail L, and Carter R for an amazing season and career playing baseball at WACS. Thank you for all you did for our baseball program. Even though today was a tough loss, you made us proud! Go Wolverines!

Staff from all departments spent the afternoon together at Mission Meadows for a day of wellness and collegiality.
We climbed rock walls, painted paws and wolverines, shot archery, learned to decorate floral cupcakes, completed a low ropes course, had yoga, played all sorts of games like pickleball, basketball, and corn hole, and most importantly, spent the afternoon together celebrating the great family that we are at WACS! 🧁🧘♀️🏀🎨🥾🌿🏓
The rain certainly didn't keep us from having a tremendous afternoon together! 💙🐾 We are Wolverines!

Members of our Transportation Department spent time today taking the "Stop the Bleed" course with Josh Schauman from Chautauqua County EMS. This training provided life saving techniques for our drivers in a hands-on format. It was a day well spent!
