We're excited to share that Westfield Academy & Central School has been selected to receive cybersecurity resources through New York State's State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program. Through this award, our district will receive Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) hardware tokens valued at approximately $17,429, supplementing our existing security measures and further strengthening the protection of district systems and accounts.
Multi-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security against unauthorized access, phishing attempts, and other cyber threats. This investment supports our ongoing commitment to safeguarding student, staff, and district information while maintaining a secure learning environment.
We thank the New York State Office of Information Technology Services and the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services for supporting school cybersecurity initiatives across New York.
