Dear Westfield Students and Families,

 Welcome back to another school year at Westfield!  We hope everyone has had a wonderful and enjoyable summer.

At Westfield, we strive for excellence in all areas of education.  Our academic programs are designed to engage and challenge our students.   We are excited to offer more Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs this coming school year in order to prepare our students for today and tomorrow’s world.   

Attendance is essential for success.  Research continues to demonstrate that regular daily attendance increases a student's academic performance and is a strong predictor whether a student will graduate on time or drop out.  We look forward to seeing our students on Thursday, September 7th, at 7:45am.      

Beyond the classroom, we believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals.  Our school offers a plethora of extracurricular activities, musical activities, and athletics to cater to our students’ interests. Every student has an opportunity to be involved.  Additionally, we believe in fostering a safe school atmosphere.  Every student deserves respect and kindness. 

We encourage open communication to strengthen our partnership between our committed staff and home.  We invite you to attend our Open House on Wednesday, September 6th, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.  This is a great opportunity to meet our teachers, learn about expectations, and to familiarize yourselves with the campus.  In addition, our Parent-Teacher Organization has organized many family-friendly activities that evening.  After visiting with our teachers, please feel free to grab a bite to eat and participate in the fun and games available throughout the evening.
