Welcome Wolverines,

I am honored to be a part of the Westfield Academy and Central School Community as your new Superintendent. Since starting my position on January 1st, 2020, the heartfelt welcome offered by so many of you has been incredible. Our students, employees, parents and community members have taken time out of their busy schedules to reach out and offer a warm welcome. I am thankful to our Parent Connection for organizing a welcome reception for me and my family. The dedication they are putting forth for our students, staff and community is very inspiring. Westfield is full of many wonderful, caring, and hard-working educators, students, families and community members.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself and my family. My wife Elizabeth and I live in Lakewood with our three children ranging in age from 12 to 14. All three of our children keep us busy with their involvement in school, sports, and youth group. My wife works at a management consulting firm in Erie, Pennsylvannia. Our children are each very different from one another and have helped to shape me as an educator and a leader. We all look forward to cheering on the Wolverines at sporting events and student acivities throughout the school year.

Prior to joining Westfield, I worked as a school administrator for Randolph Central School District and Sourthwestern Central School District. Early on in my educataional career, I served as a School Counselor. As an educator, my role is to be a trusted partner throught the school community we serve, while providing an educational environment that is welcoming and academically rewarding. This includes maintaining a focus on meeting the social, emotional and academic needs of every student.

My commitment to you is that I will lead with sincerity, honesty, compassion and integrity. I believe that establishing positive relationships with everyone I encounter is the foundation to best serve the students and community. Please know my door is 'open to you' and I welcome your thoughts and input about the educational experience we provide our students. I welome all conversation regarding our educational processs and functioning of the district, or any other areas you would like to discuss.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to meeting and working with each of you.
