    Dear WACS Families:

In compliance with the Governor’s order to continue school closures through April 14, WACS will continue to provide education remotely.  The order requires schools and WACS to provide education during our previously scheduled recess.  We will provide education for the duration of our scheduled recess and support our families.  Our staff will maintain regular communication with students and families.  We continue to monitor the health crisis and will notify our families of any changes that may occur.

Our food service team and transportation teams are preparing meals for our students to extend through our recess.  Families will receive a larger portion of food the week prior to meet the nutritional needs of our students during the week of April 13.  If possible, please be prepared with a box or cooler located on your porch for our staff to place that food inside.  Also, please be prepared to store this quantity of food.  If you have not signed up to receive meals for your student(s), please contact 326-2196 for assistance.

Please continue to visit our Facebook page, webpage and listen for our voice messaging system to receive updates.

    Be well and safe Westfield.

Michael Cipolla – Superintendent of Schools
